Description
This is a beaded amulet made the old way. It is a stone (from the Little Pigeon in Tennessee) covered with deer hide. The deer hide is beaded in the "lazy squaw" style using glass seed beads. The leather fringe is twisted, and ends with cut glass beads. The necklass is braided deer hide. Stone amulets are considered sacred and give spiritual strengths to the wearer.

Gorgeous little amulet, I really admire your patience...I tried beading once and let's just say it didn't work out too well!
